Jan Hörnemann
Jan Hörnemann is department manager for IS consulting at AWARE7 GmbH. He has been working as a project employee since 2018 and is responsible for advising customers on information security. He is also an active author on the IT security blog and conducts awareness talks to different target groups. Since 2023 he is a PhD student at the Graduate Institute NRW in the PhD program ‘Applied Computer Science and Business Informatics’.
AWARE7 GmbH is an ISO27001 certified cybersecurity company with headquarters in Gelsenkirchen. The topics of awareness, pentesting and information security at management level occupy all 20 employees on a daily basis. In addition to these services, AWARE7 GmbH is a research-related company that supports and promotes several ongoing doctoral procedures within its own ranks. Among other things, we pass on the existing expert knowledge to specialists as a T.I.S.P training provider.
